Greg Borton, CEO and Founder
Mr. Borton has founded several companies, with some of his product lines being acquired by Intel and Avaya. He has been an advisor to six startup companies in the contact center, CRM, and analytics markets, including Witness, Blue Pumpkin, Utopy, Beyond Access, Contactual, and ISense.
He launched his career at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he and several others invented and shipped the first CTI products in the world, now available as CT Connect. He founded and served as CEO of Nabnasset Corporation, a CTI middleware software products company, which is now Avaya’s Interaction Server product set. After a range of consulting activities, including performing as an expert witness in patent lawsuits, he served as the Vice President of Customer Solutions for Utopy, a speech analytics startup, implementing solutions at over 15 companies, including eLoan, HSBC, Northern Trust, Dell, and Fidelity. Lastly, he was the VP of Analytics at Nuance with a focus on IVR analytics before founding Listening Methods.
Mr. Borton is a graduate of Harvard University, cum laude, in the sciences.
Alex Esterkin, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Esterkin has over twenty years of experience creating leading edge technology products and services and realizing high-tech visions and IT roadmaps.
Prior to joining Listening Methods, he developed Cloud Computing and Big Data platform at Nokia. Before this, he was Chief Architect of Infobright data warehousing database server and developed Dataupia DW server appliances. At Brown & Company (acquired by E-Trade), he developed online trading systems. At Fidelity Investments, he created a data integration platform and served as an Enterprise Architect for operational readiness and high availability. He was early stage CTO at Salary.com (acquired by Kenexa/IBM) and interim CTO at Genalytics. Earlier in his career, he developed Expressway DW server (acquired by Sybase, a.k.a. SAP SybaseIQ), Oracle Parallel Query at KSR, and Model204 at Computer Corporation of America.
Mr. Esterkin holds MS in Mathematics from St.-Petersburg University, Russia. He took graduate classes at M.I.T. and completed Ph.D. program (A.B.D.) in Applied Geophysics at MGGU.
John Kiszla, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Mr. Kiszla is a highly successful sales and marketing professional with over twenty years of experience building effective sales teams, driving profitable growth and increasing market share in companies of all sizes. Prior to joining Listening Methods, he served as Vice President of Corporate and Agency Account Management for Pegasus Solutions, Inc. a leading provider of global distribution system connectivity, booking engines and website development services for the hospitality industry.
Prior to Pegasus Solutions Inc., he was Regional Director of Sales for Open Hospitality managing the Western North American region. Prior to Open, he held executive level management positions with Hilton Hotels, Starwood Hotels and Pan Pacific.
